When Passion Meets Purpose
In revealing your authentic self and knowing what God has in store for you, He gently guides you through life slowly opening and closing doors of opportunity which allows you to gain just the right experience and meet just the right people.
Through this journey of discovery you encounter mini missions and if you are successful with your missions, and gain the skills, knowledge and experience that you need to continue – then your next destination along your revelation of self would be your revelation of purpose.
Part of your destiny fuels your existence, stirs your passions, and provides peace to your soul. God has us all here for a reason. Are you curious to know what a difference God can make in your life when your passion is connected to His purpose for your life?

Small Town Girl Wins Big!
Wit, skill, and just plain know how it what Sophie Clark used to out smart and out maneuver her competition in this season’s finale of Survivor on CBS. Held in the South Pacific, the winner is a 22 year old medical student from Willsboro, NY. Clark states that "I think I had my finger on the pulse of the game the whole time," after it was announced she won.
While watching the finale, I was at first a little skeptical about the whole thing since I am not much of a reality TV fan but some friends talked me into it and soon I began to lighten up once they clued me in on some of the history behind the show. For example, the infamous Uncle Russell who has frequented the series often but never won is such an interesting character that he was interviewed during the finale. His nephew Brandon was one of the competitors who just happen to give his immunity to another player (Albert) that made it to the final three. That a huge mistake.
Then there is Coach Wade. This season was his third attempt on the show. As the leader of his tribe, his big mistake was thinking that he could remain loyal to everyone. Guess what, he couldn’t, and that came back to haunt him when the jurors had to vote for the winner. Last be not least is the fan’s favorite Ozzy. Perhaps because Ozzy spent more time on Redemption Island than anyone else, he won more challenges than anyone else. He certainly increased his strength and endurance while he was there which made him a more challenging opponent. But all of his hard work paid off and he didn’t walk away empty handed. Fans rewarded him with the Fan’s Favorite prize of $100,000
Overall I must admit that the finale was exciting, exhilarating and so pleasant to watch a woman win Survivor. Go Sophie! You are the Sole Survivor.

It's Not Goodbye, It's Until We Meet Again!
If you were feeling out of sorts this Wednesday, May 25, 2011, and you couldn’t quite put your finger on it, perhaps as the day progressed and began to creep closer to 4pm you realized what was wrong. It’s the end of an era, and what we have all been comfortable with and have looked forward to chatting about around the water cooler is over.
Oprah Winfrey ended her long, successful run as the most popular and loved talk show host in a three day celebration which honored her 25 years of service. On her final show Oprah left us with a few words of wisdom that bear repeating. For all of you who realize that there is more to life than what you’re doing and how you’re living, take heed to what Oprah shares about your calling.
“Everybody has a calling,” says Oprah, and her calling obviously is directly aligned to her profession. When you consider your calling, consider your passion. What fuels you, motivates you, and allows you to spring out of bed in the morning when you consider the path of your day, it all comes back to what it is that you were destined to achieve and your opportunity to receive the blessings which are connected to your destiny.
However, Oprah realizes that some of us do not always partake in the opportunity to embrace our passion. She states that some of us “block our blessing because we do not feel worthy.” But worthiness exists for everyone who is here and alive, says Oprah. So we need to begin now, embracing our life and using our passions to serve the world.
Finally, Oprah reminds us that we are not alone, we are all in this together, and together we can get through the departure of the most incredible experience that we all know as Oprah. Oprah has helped us in this transition by sharing her personal email address, Oprah@oprah.com. She's looking forward to hearing from us. For it’s not goodbye, it’s until we meet again.

Beyond Your Vocational Wilderness: Answering Your Call and Knowing the Truth About Your Purpose
We all have been blessed with unique gifts and talents that sometimes may not be used at our current place of employment. If this is the case then somewhere deep inside of us there remains a feeling of dissatisfaction, lack of fulfillment, an emptiness that can’t quite be filled by money or possessions.
We have been created to fulfill a certain destiny, we have been created to fulfill a certain purpose, a specific call on our lives and when that calling has not been responded to then there is a void that is left unfulfilled. And we are left wandering aimlessly in what I like to refer to as a “vocational wildness.”
Your vocational wilderness is the prime spot where NONE of your needs are met, you are never satisfied, you can’t quite understand why you spend so much time staring out of the window if you have a window to stare out of. Your job tasks are so simplistic and you’re not challenged. Perhaps you are employed at a job where you feel as though you’re on a merry-go-round, completing the same assignment, over and over again. Are you in the wilderness?
The best and only solution to digging through the maze of your vocational wildness is to answer your call. To some, the call on your life may be confusing; you may even be in denial to some extent. Wondering why this is even a concern, why you are experiencing an emptiness. Especially since so many of you make six figures or in some cases much more than that. But you still experience emptiness. In that respect, you should do a bit of soul searching. Take a moment to look within. If you have all the possessions and you’re still not happy, if you are putting in several hours at your job (your vocational wilderness), then what is it that could make a difference?
The answer may not always be what you think, but it could be an earth shattering realization when you discover what the truth is that reflects your purpose. It sometimes may not always have to do with how much money you make, although the amount of money can certainly provide a more comfortable living for so many of us. It also may not have anything to do with the amount of hours that we work (the popular author Timothy Ferriss states that we can condense our passions to a 4-hour work week), but it will have something to do with one important aspect, your purpose. When you decide to take a moment to reflect on your gifts, your passion and simply answer your call.
